Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 18, 2026

Thank you for visiting ToolOrbit. This Privacy Policy explains how ToolOrbit handles information across browser-based tools, AI-assisted features, analytics, advertising, and direct email contact. Our guiding principle is local-first processing: when a task can be completed in your browser, we design it so the working content stays on your device.

1. Local-first tool processing

Many ToolOrbit utilities process data entirely in the browser, including JSON formatting, text diffing, Base64 conversion, timestamp conversion, image compression, image format conversion, PDF merge/split workflows, QR scanning, barcode generation, and similar deterministic tools. For these tools, the content you paste or the files you select are processed by browser APIs and are not intentionally uploaded to ToolOrbit servers.

2. Tools that may involve server requests

Some features cannot work purely locally. AI tools, including text polishing, translation, code review, listing generation, keyword analysis, meeting minutes, video scripts, prompt generation, and similar model-assisted workflows, may send the prompt and supporting text you provide to a configured AI service so the requested output can be generated. Short-link features, analytics, advertising scripts, and externally loaded platform scripts may also involve network requests. Do not submit confidential, regulated, or production-secret information to AI-assisted workflows unless your organization permits it.

3. Cookies, local storage, and browser storage

ToolOrbit may use browser storage such as localStorage to remember user-facing preferences, pinned tools, recent tools, language choices, and lightweight interface state. These values are stored in your browser and can be cleared through your browser settings. Google Analytics and Google AdSense may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits, prevent abuse, improve ad delivery, and support advertising features.

4. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage, such as page views, device category, browser type, referrer, and approximate region. Analytics data helps us find broken workflows, prioritize content improvements, and understand which tools are useful. We do not use Google Analytics to collect the actual text, files, images, or code that you process in local-first tools.

5. Google AdSense and advertising

ToolOrbit may use Google AdSense to serve advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, measure performance, limit repeated ads, and personalize ads where permitted. You can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings and learn more at Google advertising technologies.

6. Contact information

If you contact us by email, we use your email address and the information you voluntarily provide only to respond, investigate the issue, or improve the site. Please avoid sending secrets, private documents, account credentials, or sensitive personal data in support emails unless it is necessary and safe to share.

7. Data retention

Local-first tool inputs are not stored by ToolOrbit. Browser storage remains on your device until you clear it. Email inquiries may be retained as long as needed to respond and maintain a record of support or correction requests. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to the settings and policies of the relevant Google services.

8. Your choices and rights

You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser, use privacy controls or ad personalization settings provided by Google, choose not to submit data to AI-assisted tools, and contact us at luowj1998@outlook.com to request correction or deletion of information you previously sent by email. Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when ToolOrbit features, analytics, advertising, or data practices change. The last-updated date above reflects the latest review.
